To Tryout or Participate on a VBMS or District Middle School Sports Team

1. You must be a 7th or 8th grade student at KMS or meet another OHSAA criteria...
2. Have completed ALL registration and necessary paperwork on Final Forms completed and have a current physical on file in the athletic office. The physical forms are available to download after registering for a Final Forms account. Only the 5 page FinalForms physical form is accepted. The signatures on this form are also required before a physical will be entered into our system.

3. Quick reference for eligibility: 

• The Grades evaluated will be the ones from the immediately preceding grading period *We check quarter grades only!
• Must have a minimum GPA of 1.50 in immediately preceding grading period ~Must have taken and passed 4  courses or the equivalent 
• If a student has between a GPA 1.50-1.99 they will be required to participate in our Academic Intervention program
• Academic Intervention includes weekly grade checks
• Student  athletes should be academically eligible at the time of tryouts.

If a Sport has tryouts, please do not pay participation fees until after your athlete makes the squad.
